You're invited to Out @ Public Enemies

The votes have been counted and the winner, with 45% of the vote, is Public Enemies!

What's the plan?
We'll head out to the theatre on Tuesday, July 7th at Empire 8 Park Lane. The movie starts at 6:50 p.m. We'll rally at the tables and chairs just in front of the arcade until 6:35 when we head in to get seats.
If this is your first time attending, look for guy in the orange baseball cap!

After the movie, we're going to try something different.
If the weather's nice: Go, grab a coffee or snack somewhere on Spring Garden and meet up at Victoria Park. It's the opposite the Dairy Queen with the statue of Robby Burns.
If the weather's not nice: Head on down to the Second Cup.

Tickets are $8.99; you can purchase tickets online at https://www.empiretheatres.com/empire-express/UNI00251/43/7-7-2009/18:50.
Special note! Empire is having a promotion called the "Daily Deals of Summer." Each day, there's a different coupon available on their Web site (http://www.empiretheatres.com/dailydeals).

What's it all about?
"Depression-era bank robber John Dillinger's (Johnny Depp) charm and audacity endear him to much of America's downtrodden public, but he's also a thorn in the side of J. Edgar Hoover (Billy Crudup) and the fledgling FBI. Desperate to capture the elusive outlaw, Hoover makes Dillinger his first Public Enemy Number One and assigns his top agent, Melvin Purvis (Christian Bale) the task of bringing him in dead or alive."

Why do you want to see it?
An amazing cast. An amazing true story (well, as true as Hollywood will let it be). Director Michael Mann knows how to tell a crime story. He's directed Collateral, Heat and Manhunter (the original Hannibal Lecter movie!).

If you're on facebook, you can RSVP to the event (http://www.facebook.com/event.php?eid=123839638857).

Here's watching you, kid!
